Guests can choose to stay in our historic building where there is a reception and a relaxation room with TV, or in our annex located in the building opposite, on the mezzanine floor of the train station.

The hotel Porta Rivera is located in L’Aquila a few minutes from the A 24 motorway exit, near the train station.
It is located in a strategic position for business travelers, to visit the city and its many sites of historical/cultural interest and for mountain lovers.

It is part of one of the most evocative and characteristic views of the city of L’Aquila, the village Rivera, characterized by the city walls and the historic monument of the fountain of 99 pipes.

The ski resorts of Campo Imperatore and Campo Felice are reachable from here in about 30 minutes by car. The latter, in summer, can be used as a bike park and is a reference point for downhill fans of central Italy.

Guests are reserved for free a large private parking and for those arriving by bike a deposit inside the structure.
